Accessibility Issue

  I am a blind Pocket Cast user. Latest iOS version and latest Pocket Cast version (updated yesterday). Using Voice Over on the iPhone, double-tapping the “Up Next List” button does not take me into the Up Next List. If I turn Voice Over off, tapping the Up Next List does take me into the list. A fix for this would be extremely helpful.

  Thanks for reporting this issue. I have created an issue for our developer to take a look at.

  If you are able to can you provide us with any more information so that we can replicate this issue that you are seeing? What kind of iPhone are you using? What is the version of the OS. Are you able to record a short video of the bug in action.

  Thanks for the reply! I also noticed that I can not 3-finger swipe from the bottom of the screen towards the top to scroll down…this is on the podcast feed screen, I have mine set to list. (also with voice over on) I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS version 17.02. I will try to do a screen recording and post it here.

  I can not 3-finger swipe from the bottom of the screen towards the top to scroll down…this is on the podcast feed screen, I have mine set to list. (also with voice over on)

  Checking the default VoiceOver Touch Gestures settings I see you can customize the default behavior for a Three finger swipe up. By default it should be to Scroll down. Can you confirm for me what you have here for your own setting at Settings> Accessibility> VoiceOver> Commands> Touch Gestures?

  It would also help to know if it’s only the swipe up motion with three fingers that is giving you issue, or if other Touch Gestures are having that trouble as well, like Three finger.

  Testing this myself I find that if I tap on an episode, then use the three finger gesture to scroll down I have success. VoiceOver knows I’m trying to scroll though that part of the screen. If I use the gesture as soon as I open a podcast page VoiceOver seems to assume I’m trying to scroll through the menu of options for the podcast instead.

  Let us know what you find, and if the steps I found above help get scrolling working for you.
