Account not recognising Plus subscription

Hello, I’ve subscribed for Pocketcast plus but it doesn’t seem to be being recognised on my account (still listed as a free account). Is it possibly due to my account being under a Hotmail email address but the subscription provided via Gmail account (albeit I’ve checked that too and it also is listed as free). Any advice? Thanks in advance!
