Alexa skill geographical restriction

  Hello Pocket Casts team,

  I would like to ask if there’s any specific reason why Pocket Casts Alexa skill is geographically restricted. I would love to link my account and listen to my favourite podcasts on all Amazon Echo devices but I cannot enable the skill due to that limitation. I will be very grateful if you lift that limitation. Thank you!

  Great feedback!

  Our Alexa Skill currently only supports four English locales — US, CA, UK and AU. We are using this to test and refine our skill and will consider expanding to more countries and languages in the future.

  Hello Joey,

  Thank you for the answer. I still think it would be very beneficial for everyone to allow using Pocket Casts skill without geographical restrictions. I think there are tons of people like me using Alexa skills in english from countries affected by the geographical restriction. Normally language and locale are user’s prefence. Location should be irrelevant. Please consider lifting that limitation again. Thank you!
