Allow us to search Listening History

It’s great being able to search for text within titles/descriptions of episodes within each podcast feed, but sometimes we’ll listen to something and want to try to look it up again but we don’t remember which podcast we heard it on. It would be wonderful if we could search our Listening History the same way that we can search for episodes on a feed-by-feed basis, but this would search on all episodes we’ve listened to, all in one place.

+1 to this idea.
Also, in the latest version of the app, it seems like the listening history is limited to the last year or so. In a prior version, you could keep scrolling as far back as your history with the app. Could we consider bringing back the ability to see your full history?

@amontalenti That’s strange 🤔 In the Android app, I can see an episode I listened to in 2022 in my Listening History. (That’s the year I subscribed to Pocket Casts.)
Are you looking at the listening history in the mobile app or on the web?

Can confirm it only goes back about a year (could be an episode count?) on iOS. I’d love to have full history.

@staff-joey8 Yea, I think maybe it only goes back 100 episodes. I got the idea that this might be the limit when I used an unofficial Python client to try to download my history, and the API seems to be limited to 100 rows. This endpoint, I think:

We recently had the following message sent to us by a user:
It would be useful to be able to search my listening history in the app. Very often try g to remember some episode I listened to but I can’t even remember which podcast it was.
I’ve added a for them as well.

Yes, it is just a plus symbol with 1 to indicate you would also want this to be implemented.
