Android Auto – badge indicating unplayed podcast

When I open Pocket Cast on my phone each podcast displays a badge clearly indicating how many episodes are available for each. If it is available in my car using Android Auto I can’t find it. Is it available and I’m not seeing it? If not then why not and can it be available? It would make looking for something to listen to in the car much easier. Then clicking each podcast or scrolling through a long list of unplayed / new podcast.

Hi, @jatravia! While we understand that badges in Android Auto would be really helpful, at the moment, it’s not something we’re able to do. This is because Google provides us with the template to use in Android Auto, and those currently don’t have a badge option.
In any case, I’ve added a feature request for this on your behalf in case badges do become a possibility.
