Android Auto: New Phone: Downloaded not showing correct items

Perhaps I have an odd way of using PC but I will briefly explain to see if anyone has this issue. I download everything I listen to and use the ‘Downloaded’ filter to play whatever I’m interested in listening to. I don’t use or want to use ‘Up Next’ unless I have to. I have also recently upgraded from a Pixel 7 to a Pixel 9. The Pixel 7 did not have this issue.
The issue is that I can see everything in Downloaded on my phone (Google Pixel 9) but almost none of the 50 or so items I can see on my phone show up in Android Auto. There will be a few seemingly random items but the vast majority are missing.
I have tried using the ‘Download’ option in AA but again it only lists some items. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! -

If possible, please share a screenshot or a screen recording of how the Downloads appear on the phone and the Android Auto display. Below are some steps you can try that may help:
– Please make sure the Pocket Casts app on your phone and Android Auto are up to date.
– Open your “Downloads” list on your phone before connecting to Android Auto, so the most recent list is mirrored in the car.
– Disconnect and reconnect Android Auto after updating your downloading new episodes on your phone to “force” a sync.
