Android Auto Search by Letter Feature

    Wondering what happened to the Letter Search in Android Auto. Before about a week ago, when I opened Pocket Cast in Android Auto, there was a filter on the Left side “A-Z” that would pull up a keyboard and I could hit the first letter of the podcast and it would jump to that letter in the podcast list. Made finding your particular podcasts super simple while driving without having to hold the scroll arrow to move down the list. Anyway to re-implement this?

    Hey there! That is strange for that to go away. I still see the “A-Z” filter on the left side of Android Auto with the latest 7.46-rc-1 build of Pocket Casts, so I’m pretty sure there isn’t an app change that is causing that.

    That letter-based navigation is pretty much entirely controlled by the OS, so maybe there was some other software update with your phone/car that could be causing that?

    I do notice that I only get that “A-Z” filter on my car if I have at least 6 rows of podcasts (with 3 podcasts for row, I have to subscribe to at least 16 podcasts to get 6 rows). Maybe you unsubscribed from some podcasts, and you don’t have enough podcasts for that letter sorting to show up now?
