Android Notifications

I have new episodes notifications enabled for several subscriptions. However, I’m only receiving notifications from certain subscriptions. When I compare the notification settings for the subscriptions with and without notifications enabled, the settings are identical.
Any suggestions?

@dwmilligan03027406e7 can you confirm with us if you transferred your data from an old device to a new device?
We’ve seen such issues occur when migration tools don’t transfer the data over correctly. In such cases, a reinstall of Pocket Casts fixes the issue, but note that this will mean you will lose your downloads and settings.
If you did not migrate your data recently, can you perhaps try disabling notifications for those podcasts, then re-enabling it and monitoring for any changes?

Hello, I nnever got a notification for your response and just happened upon it while searching for help with a different notification issue. But as for this issue, it seems to have resolved itself.

Hello again! Actually I spoke to soon, I was getting the notifications for the issue podcast, but now I’m not getting them. I didn’t migrate from a different platform, so that’s not it. And I’ve previously tried toggling the notifications several times, but that didn’t work.

Hi there! Just to make sure I understand the issue here – It sounds like you are getting notifications for new episodes from various podcasts. But, you’ve noticed that at least one podcast is not sending new episode notifications. Is that right?
Please check your in-app notifications at Profile > Notifications. Then tap on “Choose podcasts” to confirm you have that setup to send notifications for the affected podcast.

Yes, tthat’s correct. The notifications are properly enabled for that podcast and briefly I started receiving them, which made me think the issue had resolved itself, but then I stopped receiving them again.

@dwmilligan03027406e7 When we mentioned migration earlier, we meant switching from an old phone to a newer one (not transferring from one platform to another). Does that perhaps apply in your case? Please let us know!
