App causing Android system shutdown

I am currently running version 7.78(9292) of the app on a Pixel 6 Pro with Android 15.
After installing Android’s December security update Pocketcasts began crashing the phone whenever trying to play files. There was no issue before the update. Files can still be added and deleted from the profile screen on the app as normal but the entire phone system goes into a restart/shutdown loop immediately after pressing the play button.
The app is still playing podcast episodes fine and no other bugs have been found other than the file playback.
Big fan of the app and use it daily. Thanks for making a great product and hopefully you’ll be able to address this particular issue soon.

Hi @travelerben, I can confirm that the issue happens on Android 15. The app with a fix is currently under Google’s review. Once it’s approved you should be able to listen to files.
