App continues to become unresponsive after last update

My previous post was marked as solved but I’m continuing to have this problem so I’m making a new thread to hopefully alert the developers. My app (previously on version 7.46) would become unresponsive and wouldn’t display podcasts. I then got update 7.46.2 and that fixed the problems for a couple days but the issues have resurfaced. For seemingly no reason the app is back to randomly not letting me play/download podcasts, archive episodes, or subscribe to feeds. There are times throughout the day I am able to use the app normally and play a podcast but if I’m listening to an episode when it becomes unresponsive again, a new bug is that I cannot stop playback of the podcast through the app, widget, or mini-player in the notification drawer. It will not pause either when I’m in other apps that play sound like Twitter and YouTube.

We are just rolling out version 7.47 with some fixes to production but it’s only currently at 20% rollout. Is it possible to try our open beta version (7.47-rc-4) and let us know if this helps? You can sign up for it on our Google Play store page on your phone.

7.47 has now been rolled out to 100% of production so you can now update your app from the Play Store app. Please let me know how this goes for you.

Upon initial usage, 7.47 seems to have fixed the issues! The app works as intended. This thread can marked as solved.
