app freezing repeatedly

over the last week, the app has began to freeze frequently. All buttons become unresponsive, and it can be stuck when playing a podcast, so that it cant be stopped. It my coincide with a recent OS update but I cant be sure.
if you close the app or force stop it, you can usually reopen it and it works, though sometimes it just freezes at the splash screen and then closes after a few seconds.
I’ve also cleared the cache and rebooted, and dleeted all but a few downloaded episodes.

We’ve got a beta update out from our developers, and we’re putting it through its paces to see if it can solve issues like yours. Once we’re done testing, we’ll roll out the changes in the next few days.
