App hangs on specific podcast episode

The Android app hangs when playing https://pca.st/episode/e8a02519-de5b-439c-851c-7be19b3736dd for a short while. It may resume and become responsive again, but then Android continues to think it’s hanging and will repeatedly ask what to do about it (or just kill it when the screen is off). I have an up to date Google Pixel 6a if it matters.

Would you confirm the Pocket Casts app version, and your Android version? If you haven’t done so, please update it to the latest version.
Just in case, I recommend restarting your device to see if that can clear up any temporary glitches.
If that doesn’t help, and if you’re on the latest version for Android and Pocket Casts, next step would be getting diagnostic logs from you. You can submit it from the app directly.
It would be best for you to contact us from your mobile immediately after you replicate the issue again. When you do that, you will also be sending your app logs with us. You can reach out through the Pocket Casts app — Profile > Help & Feedback > Get in touch.
It would be helpful if you could note the title of the episode you were listening to and at approximately what time, so we can correlate it with the information from the logs. Please cite this forum thread (URL) as a reference in your message. Thanks! -
I’m on v7.78.2. I just tried to reproduce the issue after redownloading the episode and I can’t trigger it anymore. I guess you can close the issue if you can’t reproduce it, either…
