App needs some refinement here and there

Hi there. At first I want to say that I love Pocket Casts and it’s serving me very well for several years now.
But I have to admit, the app itself could use some modernisation and refinement here and there. For example, as you can see in my screen recordings (https://photos.app.goo.gl/GV2iMxqharcRfX9WA) tapping the elements in the bottom bar more than one time make the app reload the current screen which kinda looks like a bug. I would encourage you to fix this behavior.
Furthermore as you can see in the other screen recording, several options in sub pages are automatically shown, although they aren’t activated. They are briefly shown before the app “remembers” that these options aren’t enabled (auto archive & playback effects). These little “glitches” look rather unpolished, so please fix these as well.
Also, the animation when opening and closing the player could be a lot more smoother than it is right now. Google Podcasts does it very beautifully, maybe you could take some inspiration from them?
PS: Implementing Material You would be awesome as hell!
