App Not Working

Hi, I’m no longer able to download or play new podcasts. Anything I already have downloaded plays fine, but nothing new. Also all the thumbnails have gone from the podcasts, they’re all just generic Pocket Cast symbols.
This happens on Wifi and mobile data. I have cleared the cache. I’m on Android version 13.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi there, @philbligh! That sounds really frustrating! To get started, could you check the following:
- Do you perhaps have a firewall, VPN, or ad-blocker active on your device that could interrupt your network connection?
- Please also check your primary WiFi connection. In particular, please see if it has any sort of ad-blocking or filtering installed on it. One example would be this: https://pi-hole.net/
In addition, you can also try connecting to a different network or even to mobile data. Then, please see if you are able to download normally on those connections.
You can also check the storage space – verify that you have enough storage space on your device for storing downloads. And, battery optimization – remove any battery use restrictions set for Pocket Casts; you can refer to How to give Pocket Casts unrestricted battery access?
