(Apple) Watch App | Restart / Rewind Episode to Start

  Hello everyone,

  I have a simple feature request, the title basically says it all, but I’ll elaborate quickly on it.

  Sometimes I want to restart an episode from the beginning, controlling this from the apple watch is not very convenient, as there are currently only two ways to do so:

  If you’re lucky and the podcast has chapters you can use the button to jump to the previous chapter until you are back at the start. Else you have to press the seek backwards button of the player 100 times until you reached the beginning of an episode.

  or

  Marking the episode as played, then searching it again and starting to play it.

  Neither of those options is very convenient, especially if you quickly want to restart an episode when trying to fall alseep, so here are my solution proposals:

  1. If there are no chapters, the buttons to jump chapters are not visible, so there is space for a button to rewind to start
  2. Keeping the rewind button of the player pressed for x seconds rewinds to the start of the episode automatically.
