Arabic Content Suggestions in Pocketcast: A Call for Improvement

Frustrated with the lack of Arabic content suggestions in Pocketcast’s “Discover” section. App frequently recommends podcasts in other languages (English mostly), despite my clear interest in Arabic content.
Why should I use social media or blogs to know what is the popular Arabic podcasts? Pocketcast should be able to provide me with relevant recommendations based on my preferences.
Requesting developers to implement language and location-based filters for more accurate suggestions. Let’s make Pocketcast a better experience for Arabic-speaking users. -
Hi @m0baid! Thank you for your feedback on this – I have added this to our feature request tracking for consideration.
You can change regions at the bottom of our Discover page, which will update the Popular list and Categories based on the selected country. If there’s a country you’d like to see added, please let us know and we can look into if it’s possible – noting that we require sufficient users in each country to have enough data to be able to move forward.

Hello @emmelinekb, thanks for the response. The ‘Trending’ section and all sections below show podcasts in English except for the last one, which shows popular podcasts in the specified region. The whole page needs improvement; the suggestions should be based on the user’s preferences, language, and then location. Location is not that important; all that matters is language.

Hi, how about persian language? The same problem with persian (farsi). Consider it in your tracker too.
