Archived and played episodes reappear in Filters

Hello,
Im having an issue similar to other issues reported about episodes that have been played or archived appearing in up next. In my case they re-appear in a filter I have setup for weekly podcasts I listen to. Im not logged into any other device apart from apple watch though I don’t use that really. I cleared the episodes all out of the filter about two days ago and noticed today they are all back and have also now appeared in up next and are playing again. Episodes seem to have returned back as far as the 23rd of September. Im currently on episodes from 1st of November in my playlist.
Im running:
- iOS 18.3 on iPhone 16 pro.
- WatchOS 11.2 on Apple Watch 10
- Pocketcasts – whichever was the latest version before 7.8.0, which just auto updated about 5 minutes ago on my phone :).

We have shared reports of this issue with our development team. It will likely take some time to address this particular issue, which unfortunately I don’t have an exact timeframe on.
In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, you can try uninstalling our Pocket Casts app from your Apple Watch.
