Archiving dead podcasts
-
Can we please get an option to archive podcasts themselves so they don’t appear on the main podcast subscribed screen? I’m subscribed to many dead podcasts that I’d like to stay subscribed to on the off chance they’ll put out another episode. But I don’t want to have them cluttering the main screen.

Thanks for the suggestion!
I can definitely see how an archive option for podcasts would be useful for managing inactive shows without losing your subscription. I’ve added your request to our list of feature ideas for the team to consider.

In the mean time, you can also sort your podcasts by when the most recent episode was released, which would put inactive podcasts at the bottom ([… on iOS, ⋮ on Android] in the top right corner of the podcasts tab > Sort By > Episode Release Date).

I want this so much. Except to also be able to hide active podcasts that I rarely listen to. I have like 15-20 pods I listen to maybe once a year, when I’ve listened to all my active shows. But they take up a significant chunk of my screen, and prevent me from sorting by episode release date, since they’re still releasing new content.

Hi there, @kingcuerno! Thanks for the feedback on older podcasts. I’ve added your vote to the feature request too. Not exactly what you need, but I was wondering if setting up a folder for those non-active shows would be helpful. That way the podcast artwork is not as obvious.
