Archiving Issue

  I just had an glitch where in almost all of the podcasts I follow, all, a few, or a bunch (sometimes but not always the most recent ones) of the episodes got archived. I don’t have auto-archiving turned on. I am using an iPad Pro with iPadOS 18.2 and Pocket Casts v7.78.2.

  @bjtitus The farthest back my logs go is the 28th.

  @kapods22 if the logs go back to when you encountered archiving issue, that will be useful. You can reference this forum thread URL in your message when you submit the logs. Thanks!

  @staff-bluejay They only go back to the 28th which is at least 2 days too late.

  @kapods22 did the issue happen just on this specific occasion or did it happen more recently?

  @kapods22 Without logs from the time of the incident, I’m afraid there isn’t really any way to know what might have happened. The best thing I can suggest is that if it happens again, please contact us through the app immediately and include logs and the names of affected podcasts.

  Also double check that Settings > Auto-archive > Inactive Episodes is set to ‘Never’.
