Auto add adding podcasts that aren’t selected

I have zero podcasts selected for auto-add. Whenever an episode finishes playing, one of my downloaded episodes starts playing. Sometimes it’s the same podcast and sometimes not, I think it’s going to whichever is next in my downloads. This started happening when I migrated from my previous phone.

In this case, it sounds like the migration tool used might have incorrectly transferred over some Pocket Casts data, causing this to occur.
The only solution we know of is to reinstall the app, which will fix the issue, but you’ll need to note that your downloads and custom settings will get cleared.
If you also share with us what migration tool you used, we can look into investigating the matter further.

I migrated from one Pixel phone to another, and as far as I remember I just used whatever built in transfer that Pixels have.

I uninstalled and reinstalled a few days ago, redownloaded some podcasts, and the issue is still happening.

I’m wondering if this might be caused by AutoPlay. Could you navigate to Profile > Settings > General and see if you have the AutoPlay setting enabled at the bottom? If so, you can try disabling that to see if it does the trick.

Oh yeah that was probably it. It was off before I reinstalled but I forgot to turn it back off after the reinstall. Thanks!
