Auto delete (or archive) listened episodes even the podcast is not in my list.

Unfortunately I downloaded some episodes but did not follow the podcast. This is in my opinion not very nice. Because I first listen to some episodes. If I don’t like them, I will not follow. But I have manually to delete the episodes.

If you have Auto Archive enabled, episodes that you download and listen to should automatically Archive and the episode file will be deleted from your device at the selected time in Auto Archive’s settings. Even if you aren’t following the podcast.
You can configure this in Profile > Settings > Auto Archive > Played Episodes.
But if you had something else in mind that this doesn’t quite accomplish, please let us know!

@mikerockwell. Thank you. But this is not working on two different devices. Only podcasts I follow ause the automatic archive.
Maybe I open it as a support case.

Could you tell us a bit more about your setup?
- What device are you using?
- What version of Pocket Casts do you have installed?
- What settings do you have configured in Profile > Settings > Auto Archive > Played Episodes?
- Are any of the episodes that aren’t archiving starred and do you have “Include Starred Episodes” enabled in Profile > Settings > Auto Archive?
