-
Using an android head unit along with with its ZLink5 app that provides wireless android auto. I have an issue where it will pause anything that’s playing on pocket casts when I shift out of reverse. It is only happening on the pocket casts app and does not happen when using Spotify, YTMusic, Pandora, etc.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing the relevant portion of the log. Could you provide the following information too:
- The OS version on your device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings
- Your Android Auto version – you can usually search for this in the phone’s Settings too, and it will often be in the “About” section
- Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About

Thanks for that, @lugofeliciano! I’ve now asked our developers to look into your issue. We’ll keep you updated with what they say.

@lugofeliciano Can you please check what you have under the app’s Settings > Notifications > “Play over notifications”? If that is not enabled, can you please enable it? Then, please check if the situation in Android Auto improves. Let us know how it goes!

it was set to never, it didn’t make a change no matter what I choose there. It did the same thing on all 3 settings
