Auto resume playback after phonecall

    When at work I have my Poly V5200 connected to both my PC and my mobile phone. When I am done with a call in Teams on my computer or a general call on my phone, Pocket Casts resume from where I left of the last time I listened. It is very annoying as I typically put down my headset after an conversation. When I then open pocket casts to continue, the podcast is finished because it has just played through on my headset.

    Any ideas on how to disable auto resume playback?

    Hi – I’m having a similar problem.

    Whenever someone calls me and then hangs up, my podcast start playing automatically.

    Hi, @jeremypitman! To confirm if this is indeed the same issue, which app are you using when you experience the issue? Is it iOS, Android, or web/desktop?

    Pocket casts will start playing on speaker and without me touching my phone or any control. This happens after I receive calls and some notifications. This has happened while I have been in public places and in meetings while my phone is on silent.

    iphone 11 / up to date os

    Please provide a fix or I will need to delete app because it causes embarrassment.

    Hi all! It looks like @niallhanna mentioned this is happening on iOS, is that the same operating system you are all using?

    If so, we are tracking this bug here. So far, we have not been able to replicate the issue, but once we gather more information, we should be able to find the root cause of the problem.
