Automatic background syncs not happening

I know the app says it will perform occasional background syncs. But I don’t believe it ever automatically does it. I need to pull down on the “Podcasts” screen to trigger a manual sync. What am I missing?

We may need to take a look at app logs to investigate this further. Could you reach out to us through the app by navigating to Profile > Help & Feedback > Get in touch? You may receive an automatic response with information from our documentation, but you can reply to that message to escalate to our team directly.
