Autoplay Turned Off But Still Playing

I have Autoplay turned off under the General settings but when a podcast finishes, podcasts that I was previously listening still automatically play. I saw other posts in which people discovered they had toggled the wrong setting but I am certain I have turned it off correctly. Is this a known issue? Is there a solution? It makes listening to podcasts when falling asleep really frustrating. Thanks!

Hi, @lowellwithkids! The Autoplay setting under Profile > Settings (gear icon) > General only applies when your Up Next queue is empty.
From what you describe, however, it looks like your Up Next queue has episodes in it. You’ll know if that’s the case because there will be a number on the Up Next queue icon (which looks like three lines on the lower-right corner of the screen). Can you confirm that for us, please?
If you have episodes in your Up Next queue, playback will be continuous. One way you can get around continuous playback, however, is to set a Sleep Timer for “End of Episode.”
