Batch deleting played episodes – and more…

    Hello everyone,

I follow a handful of podcasts, each of which has several episodes; I set up the app to auto archive (and hide) played episodes. I would like to now batch-select (i.e. not one by one) several of these played episodes and delete them from my device, but can’t seem to find a way to do that.

I’m a new user, so perhaps I’m misinterpreting the meaning of “archiving” an episode (does that function leave a downloaded episode on the phone or does it actually remove it?), but I would appreciate some help in getting rid of the episodes I don’t want while retaining those I would like to listen a second time.

Also – I can live with commercials popping up randomly during playback, but I would appreciate if the playback volume wouldn’t jump to 300% in the process! Is this something that can be fixed?

    Thanks!

Using PC ver. 8.1.0.7 on an iOS 26.1 iPhone
