Bookmarks improvements

Thank you thank you thank you so much for adding Bookmarks support! For years I’ve been writing my own crazy iOS Shortcuts in conjunction with the “Drafts” app to save bookmarks, so having it built-in has been an absolute godsend!
I do have a few suggestions for further improving this feature, though:
- Bookmark export: I use bookmarked episodes for research purposes. It would be super useful to be able to export all my bookmarks into a CSV file or something that I can save along with my research notes.
- Global Bookmarks search: I totally love how Pocketcasts can globally search Show Notes, even in podcasts you’re not subscribed to. I’d love to see a similar feature for Bookmark searching, where I can search ALL of the bookmarks that I’ve saved, across all my subscribed podcasts.
- Minor UI improvement on the Web app: The bookmarks in the Web app get truncated after only a few characters. They should wrap, just like they appear in the iOS app.

And further on 2. Global Bookmarks Search, it would be nice to have a Bookmarks area under our profile, alongside “Downloads”, “Starred”, and “Listening History”, where we can see and search all of our bookmarks in one place across all feeds.

Also, it would be great to have “Bookmarks” in the filters menu. So: please add “bookmarks” as a filter option.

+1 It would be great if the bookmarks could be accessed globally. So instead of going into each podcast, you could also access a bookmarks section which included bookmarks from all podcasts together.

@jrum9yog Just to confirm, this is already possible within Pocket Casts.
You can view all of your bookmarks in one place:
- iOS and Android mobile apps – go to Profile > Bookmarks
- Web and desktop apps – click on “Bookmarks” in the left-hand sidebar

Piggybacking off this topic to avoid creating a new one. It would be great to have a folder functionality for bookmarks. My initial thought is to add folders to the Bookmarks section in Profile, so that bookmarks could be saved/separated by topic/podcast/etc.

Also piggybacking this thread: the Bookmarks feature is great but it’d be very useful to trigger the creation of a new bookmark from a iOS Shortcut. That way any desired interaction could result in a bookmark and not only the headphones prev/next gestures.
+1 to the bookmarks export too, it’s really a needed feature for any of us who like to bookmark and then curate their bookmarks somewhere else, e.g. in our personal notes.
