Bought Android App in 2015

I bought the Android App in 2015. Now it says my membership is the free tier. Was I supposed to get a different membership as I purchased the app before the subscription model was introduced?

In 2019, we switched from having each app be its own purchase to offering the iOS and Android apps for free. Access to the web and desktop apps was then limited to those with a Pocket Casts Plus subscription. You can find the 2019 announcement here:

In your case, you still have access to everything you previously paid for with the mobile app. We’ve also continued to release new features in the mobile apps for free.

@austinchasem sorry but you paid for nothing. They went to a free model and did not do anything for the users who funded their platform so that they could afford to grow bigger. Welcome to the free tier club (that you paid for!)#feature-request
