Bug: no longer receiving notifications for new episodes

    I’m no longer getting push notifications for new episodes that I’ve turned the bell on for. It used to work fine then just stopped. I’ve re-subscribed to notifications, even re-toggled the permission for notifications on iOS. I’ve even reinstalled the app to no avail. I tried emailing support to find they only provide it for premium users. I’m also troubled to hear that they don’t want bug reports unless I pay for premium.

    Regarding the issue you mentioned:

    If notification permissions have been enabled already, then the other step would be to reinstall the app, which you mentioned you’ve done already.
    However, can you give it a try again, but do the following:

    1. Uninstall the app
    2. Reinstall the app
    3. Enabling notifications again in the app
    4. Confirm if notification permissions are enabled via Settings > Pocket Casts

    Please note that when you reinstall the app, you will lose all of your custom settings and downloads.
