   I have been using Pocketcasts for many years. I use the auto-play next to have a continuous never-ending playlist. For about 2 months most episodes/podcasts wouldn’t auto-add themselves to the podcast playlist. I reviewed the setting of the podcasts and made sure the setting is correct. Please can you help?

  Good question! We have not had other users report this kind of issue, but what you are mentioning could be caused when your Up Next Queue has reached the ‘Auto Add Limit’.

  This limit can be set via Profile > Settings > Auto Add to Up Next > Auto Add Limit. So, for example, if your limit is set to 500, and your Up Next Queue has reached 500 episodes, then it could result in new episodes not being added automatically.

  To adjust the way this works, you could:

  • Increase the ‘Auto Add Limit’ (if possible – 1000 is the limit)
  • Change the ‘If Limit Reached’ setting to use ‘Only Add to Top’ instead of ‘Stop Adding’.
