[Bug Report] “Auto skip last xx seconds” doesn’t mark episode as played

I noticed that my auto archive after played settings were not getting applied once I enabled auto skip last 10 seconds on some of my podcasts. When I investigated I realised that auto skipping is not marking the episodes as played and hence the episodes were not getting archived after playing.

Hi @xavie3r – I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue in testing on version 7.85.2. If I set a podcast to skip the last 10 seconds, then I play an episode, once the end point is reached (10 seconds from the end) the episode is marked as played. If I go into the episode view, I see a ‘Mark unplayed’ option.
Would you be able to share a screen recording that shows the behaviour you’re seeing?

I am 100% sure this happened with me but I can’t seem to be able to recreate it. My best guess is this happened when I was not opening pocketcast UI at all for long and only controlling it with Siri/shortcut actions. I will get back once I face this again. Thanks for your prompt reply
