Can I keep my last played episode in the player
-
Is there a way to leave a podcast in the now playing window after it completes if there is nothing after it in the queue? I frequently listen to podcasts while falling asleep and if I wake up during the night I like to just hit play on my headphones to start it back up but since they disappear as soon as they finish in the app it won’t work. Is there any option to do this?

Hello! Considering what you’ve described so far, there is a feature in the app that you might find useful. It’s the Sleep Timer:

With that set to “End of episode,” for example, the current episode gets left in the player after it ends. So, in the event that you do fall asleep, you have the option to resume the episode when you wake up.

This should be the default behavior though. It’s an extremely common need to review a podcast you just listened to. Deletion of completed episodes should be delayed by a day or something.

@makosanders @thegravyboat57e8cb1562 you could also disable the ‘Auto Archive’ feature from triggering ‘After Playing’, and set it to happen after a certain period of time.
This can be done via Settings > Auto Archive.
Note: The episodes might still get removed from your queue, but you will be able to re-add it via Profile > Listening History.
