Can’t add SoundCloud podcast

  We recently had the following message sent to us by a user:

  Why can’t I add this particular podcast feed from SoundCloud to PocketCasts using the search icon in the iOS app?

  Adding SoundCloud links to Pocket Casts directly is not supported. This is because these links are not RSS feed URLs. It is, however, possible to extract an RSS feed URL from a SoundCloud link using third-party services like the following:

  https://getrssfeed.com/

  The exact steps to add a podcast to Pocket Casts if you only have a SoundCloud link are:

  1. Copy the SoundCloud link
  2. Paste it into the “Extract RSS Feed URL” form in https://getrssfeed.com/
  3. Click “Find RSS Feed”
  4. After the RSS feed URL is returned, click “Copy RSS”
  5. Head to https://pocketcasts.com/submit/
  6. Paste the RSS feed URL and click “Submit”
