Can’t get episodes to auto play or play automatically after each other

  We received the following case:

  Still having trouble getting episodes to play automatically after each other.

  The first thing to understand, episodes can play automatically if they are in the Up Next playlist.

  It’s currently not possible to have the episodes play automatically within a podcast page (without moving them to the Up Next queue).

  In the original case we received, we found from the log that:

  Player
Up Next queue is empty.

  This indicates at that time there are no episodes in the Up Next queue, which made us guess the user may expect to play episodes (automatically and) directly from the Podcast page.

  If however, the expected episodes are already in the Up Next, and they don’t play automatically after another, feel free to reply below with more information, such as:

  • The podcast or episodes in question (please provide the URL, if they are public ones)
  • Your app version (please make sure to also always have them updated to the latest first)
