Can’t remove played downloads

    Since yesterday played downloads in my downloads folder cannot be removed . There used to be a button I could press at the top of the list with an X over it that would remove played episodes – this function has gone . Is this a fault ? IS there any other way to remove played episodes that are downloaded – I now have a downloads folder littered with played episodes that just sit there ….

    Hi, @sheepscrumptiously8b031557a2! Can you please confirm the following for us?

    • The OS version on your device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings
    • Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About

    If you’re on Android, we’re aware of an issue affecting download management, and we hope to have a fix available for you soon.

    I’m also seeing the issue in Pockets Casts 7.92 (9352) on Pixel 7 (Android 15)

    We want to inform everyone following this thread that the issue affecting episode downloads in the Pocket Casts Android app has been resolved.
     
    If you were experiencing problems such as being unable to remove played downloads, clear your download list, or retry failed downloads, these have been fixed in version 7.92.1
     
    Please update to the latest version of the app to restore full functionality.
     
    (Note: If you still see archived episodes in your Downloads list, please try restarting your device.).
     
    If you still have trouble after updating, please reply here with further details.
