Casting on Web Version Broken

Chromecasting on the web player fails to play anything to the speaker, it just hangs.
Tested with Chrome 142 on Windows and Linux, and casting to a Nest Mini (2nd Gen) and Nest Hub.
On the Nest Hub, it just displays a picture of Pocket Casts and nothing happens. -
Could you share app logs with us the next time you experience this issue? That can help us when investigating the problem on our end.
You can follow these steps to send app logs to us from the web / desktop player:
- Click the Profile icon on the upper-right corner of the app’s screen.
- Click “Settings.”
- Click “Help.”
- Click “Send Feedback.”
- Make sure “Include debug logs” is enabled. You’ll know that “Include debug logs” is enabled if the toggle next to it is blue.
- Be sure to include a description of the issue you’re experiencing and you can also link to this forums thread for additional context. :)

Alright, I’ve submitted a bug report with the debug logs and linked back to this thread!
I can confirm that casting works fine via the Android and iOS app, just not web. I can’t attach images directly to the forum so I can only have a link: https://imgur.com/a/uV1JKxLThat’s what the Nest Hub looks like when casting.

Hey, turns out that this issue was actually due to uBlock Lite 😅
If anyone is having this issue make sure to turn off adblock on Pocket Casts to get casting to work! -
