  I have noticed that the commercials within the podcasts have been localized. I don’t know how, but I do find it a helpful feature. However, I get many, many commercials for an infertility clinic in different podcasts. I find these commercials extremely upsetting, which is additionally unhelpful as I am using the app on my two hour commute to work. How do I stop these commercials?

  Pocket Casts itself does not insert any ads into the podcasts you are listening.

  If you are getting localized ads, your podcast author is using “Dynamic Ad Insertion” which plays different ads based on your IP address.
