Constant pausing during CarPlay playback

I reported this via support in the app, but the resulting email response makes it unclear if that initial report is even read, so posting here instead. I’m not looking for support, more just reporting an apparent bug.
Recently (maybe the past couple of weeks?) I’ve sporadically had issues with podcasts pausing every 30-60 seconds while listening through CarPlay. When it started happening again today, I switched to playing music via the stock Apple music app, and it no longer happened. I then played a podcast again, and it immediately started pausing again, pointing to it being an issue with Pocket Casts specifically and not a general connection issue. Restarting the car (lol) sometimes fixed the issue. Happy to provide more details if any would be helpful.
