Crackling sound
-
Hi, I’ve switched to a POCO X6 Pro and I’m having an issue with a crackling sound on the speaker or Bluetooth headphones, though I’m not sure if it’s the same with the phone’s built-in speaker. Audio files downloaded through the Pocket Casts app play without any issues; the problem occurs with external audio files added to a playlist. The files are stored on the phone, just like the ones downloaded through the app, but only in these externally added files, there are random moments when the audio crackles, making it hard to hear what’s being said. Other players, like AIMP or Smart Audiobook Player, don’t have this problem, and I’ve also ruled out a Bluetooth issue. Any idea what might be causing this? It’s definitely not an issue with the audio files themselves, because if, for example, it crackles for 5 seconds and I rewind to that moment, the audio plays fine then.

Hi, @nyorbee! Can you share the following information with us?
- The OS version on your device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings
- Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About
- Do you use any playback effects like Speed, Trim Silence, and Boost Volume? If yes, please share the specific settings you use.

I managed to fix it by just remove this files, and adding them againg. Now it’s seems to be working :)
