Creative Ways to Use Pocket Casts Filters Beyond Podcast Organization
-
Hi everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with Pocket Casts filters and playlists, and I’m curious how others are using them in creative or unconventional ways. Of course, they’re great for keeping podcasts organized, but has anyone tried applying them to other goals, like:
- Tracking moods or themes (e.g., “chill listening” vs. “deep focus”)
- Learning goals (language practice, history, or tech series)
- Productivity hacks (timing breaks, commutes, or workouts)
I’d love to hear how you’ve set up your filters/playlists to serve purposes beyond just managing podcast subscriptions.
For example, I’ve even thought about using them like how people categorize game libraries—similar to how I organize my fighting game sessions by type and skill level.
Looking forward to your ideas!
