How do I delete a podcast like Ezra Klein from my main page? Somehow this should be simple.

It sounds like you want to unsubscribe from this specific podcast. If so, you simply need to click on the podcast artwork, then click on ‘unsubscribe’ or a checkmark icon. That will allow you to unsubscribe from it, which will remove it from your podcasts page :)

Is there any way to fully delete a podcast? I have a self hosted RSS feed that was dead for a while. It works again and i can see all the new episodes with other podcast players. Pocket Casts cant seem to update the episodes though, even when i refresh the episode list.
In other podcast apps the solution was just to delete the podcast and re- add it. In Pocket Cast, i only see an option for unfollowing, not deleting. When i re- add the podcast, all the episodes that no longer exist show up and the new ones are still hidden.
How can i fully delete a podcast including all its data?

I think deleting own/self-hosted podcasts should be easier, something like using the form to confirm ownership and delete or something similar.

Chiming in on this older thread because I’m running into the same issue and need to fully delete a podcast.
I have a subscriber feed URL that works correctly in Apple Podcasts, but Pocket Casts reports “Invalid Feed”. I’ve already unfollowed the previous subscription and tried following again with the working RSS URL, but I get the same error. My theory is that it’s trying to use my previously-used URL not the new one.
Has there been any improvements in this area?
