Desktop app always opens to the Discover page

The Pocket Casts desktop app now opens to the “Discover” page every time the app is launched. Please make this customizable or reopen the last page used.
Was this an intentional change to get more views of the sponsored content on the Discover page, now that the app is free for everyone?
If so, please at least allow Plus subscribers to customize the launch page. As a longtime user, I rarely visit “Discover” and can find it when I need it. Thanks! 😊

We can confirm this is being fixed – if you have podcast subscriptions, it will default to the ‘Podcasts’ page, otherwise it will default to the ‘Discover’ page.

I’m a Pocket Casts Plus member and still having the issue of ‘Discover’ being the default page on my mac desktop app. When is the update expected to allow us to revert back to making our subscription page the default? Thanks!

I was hoping the fix for this would be in the recent 2.0.10 desktop app update, but it’s still doing the same thing.
