Desktop app can’t play episodes

    I’ve noticed this occurring for the last several days: The desktop app is responsive but when I attempt to play an episode of any podcast it will attempt to load for several seconds, but then say at the bottom of the screen “The episode could not be played.” My computer is connected to the internet and I have tried exiting/restarting the app several times as well as restarting my computer.

    Can you please let us know if this is happening with all podcasts, or just specific ones?

    The error message you are seeing generally means that the podcast episode file is not loading, and that is generally due to an issue with the podcast server.
