Desktop App: Just another player or something more powerful?

I use PocketCasts on IOS on two devices,
I just looked at the desktop app. My impression is that is just another player with:
a different up next playlist.I hoped that I was getting a remote tool to decide on my computer what I will be listening soon to on my Iphones; hence a functionality to trigger the download on the iphone/ipad and add them to up next.
But unfortunately I now see:
3 different up next list on 3 devices: Desktop, Iphone, Ipad.
3 different download lists
The downloads on one device include episode that I have already listened to on another device.
When is this functionality planned? -
With functionality, I mean
an automatic sync among the devices.
Triggering the download and up next on the remote device. -

Pocket Casts uses cloud storage to sync specific user information across devices when you’re logged into your account. Your Up Next queue should sync across all your devices as long as you’re logged in to the same Pocket Casts account.
Downloads are currently not synced across devices. This means an episode downloaded on your phone won’t automatically download on your iPad or desktop app.
However, if you’re a Pocket Casts Plus subscriber, you can use the “Cloud Upload” feature. This allows you to upload downloaded episodes to the cloud for access on all your devices.

Please double-check that you’re logged in to the same Pocket Casts account across all your devices (desktop, iPhone, iPad).
