Discover trending episodes

Currently you can see trending podcasts in the “Discover” tab but it’d be nice to see trending (most played/shared/etc.) episodes as well. Just because an episode is trending doesn’t mean the whole podcast is worth listening to. I’d imagine this is similar to YouTube recommending individual videos rather than entire channels.

The Discover page is curated by people, which is why it’s useful. Trending episodes would most likely show you multiple episodes by the most popular shows. That seems much less useful.
I star episodes to make a list of things to listen to later; I’m sure many others do that as well. “Most-starred episodes” could show you what people are not listening to, but plan to do so later. Not sure how useful that would be.
