Download a podcast that i am not subscribe to

Sometimes i want to download a episode of podcast which i am not subscribe to.
I can find the epsiode via the podcast search and click downloads and can see it has been download as i can see it has a green tick.
If i go to filers i cant see it under downloads, i guess as the filters only show podcast you are subscribe to?

That is correct! Filters only show episodes for podcasts you are subscribed to. I recommend tapping to Profile> Downloads to find episodes you’ve downloaded from podcasts you haven’t subscribed to instead

I would like for this to be a feature. I want to have the option to add podcasts that I have downloaded episodes for, but am not subscribed to, to filters. If they’re not in my filters I forget about them because they are hidden away. But I don’t want to subscribe to a podcast if 1 in 50 episodes is interesting to me, for example because of a guest.

This is also an issue for me. I download episodes from other shows mentioned in podcasts that I listen to to get greater context. Please have the option for non subscribed episodes downloaded to show up in the download filter. Maybe a separate filter just for them might be easier. Whatever works. Cheers.
