Dynamic Type support (new feature) is killing me
-
I have an iPhone 12 Mini; it’s great for people who don’t feel like keeping a small iPad in their pocket. Unfortunately Pocket Casts has become close to unusable with the latest update, which supports Dynamic Type.
My eyesight is fine; I keep the text-size slider in the middle. Pocket Casts interprets medium as large print, however. When I go to a podcast I can see at most one full episode title without scrolling; usually it’s just part of an episode title. If a podcast has a long title and I have something playing, I can’t see the newest episode at all.
I can go to the Settings app and move the slider, but then my messages have small print. I really don’t feel like going back and forth all the time. Please add an option to ignore Dynamic Type. The old text size was just fine.

There is an option to set per-app settings for font sizes on iOS. If you navigate to the system Settings app > Accessibility > Per App Settings, you can tap on “Add App” and select Pocket Casts.
Once you’ve added Pocket Casts to the Per-App Settings list, you can tap on it and choose your desired font size for the app.
