Enhancing the Pocket Casts Forum Experience with Upvote Arrows and Idea Section
-
Dear Pocket Casts Forum Team,
Firstly, I would like to propose the addition of upvote arrows to the forum. These upvote arrows would allow users to express their support and agreement with ideas and suggestions posted by others. This feature would eliminate the need for users to create redundant posts simply to express their agreement, streamlining the conversation and making it easier for the development team to gauge the popularity of certain ideas.
Additionally, I’d like to suggest the creation of a separate section within the forum specifically for “Ideas” or a similar category. This would help differentiate between support-related questions and feature ideas. Having a dedicated space for users to share their innovative ideas and suggestions could foster more constructive discussions and collaboration within the community.
I believe these proposed enhancements align with the spirit of community engagement that the Pocket Casts Forum promotes. By implementing upvote arrows and creating a distinct section for ideas, the forum could become an even more valuable resource for users to interact, provide feedback, and contribute to the ongoing development of Pocket Casts.

These are both great ideas, @teknevra96! Thanks for taking the time to share them.
We’re already looking into an “Ideas” section for the forum, and I agree that it would be so wonderful if users could just vote on those and other threads.
In any case, I’ve opened a feature request on your behalf. I’ll make sure these ideas are considered by the developers as we continue looking at ways we can improve the forums.
Thanks again!
