episodes won’t play if they’re downloaded onto sd

  versions 7.71, on android

  so I have an issue where if I set it to download the episodes onto my sd card, the episode won’t play. To get it to play I have to remove the download, then download it on my phone, it just won’t play if its on my sd card.

  I don’t have the space to have the episodes on my phone, so it’s causing a lot of troubles.

  Is there something I can do to fix this?

  @superbugsybunny – can you please confirm if you’re able to play files on your SD Card if you access them directly with a File Manager app?

  Sometimes SD Cards can be faulty and result in such issues, so it would be a good idea to confirm if it works properly using a File Manager app.

  Also, if you can share some information of your device, such as the model, OS, Pocket Casts version, it would be very helpful!
