Explain podcast submit and sharing

  Hi,

  I am unclear about this, because if I submit e.g. https://api.substack.com/feed/podcast/644375.rss as a public podcast, it creates Pocket Cast link to it (https://pca.st/ia8lbnda), but when I want to share it using the app, it will stop at “Sharing is not available for private podcasts”.

  I have added some other podcasts in the past with sharing not working at first, but somehow it got fixed after a while.

  Is this related to that 12 hours index period?

  @nnone77 We’re not quite sure why sharing isn’t working for the podcast although it is public. I’ve asked our developers to check, and we’ll let you know as soon as we hear back.

  @nnone77 just an update – our team have found the cause of the problem and are investigating what needs to be done to fix the issue.

  We hope to have it fixed up soon :)
